Wind-Resistant Cable
The two parallel module cables on the upper layer play the role in supporting and fixing the modules, using special connectors, the modules are installed through the sliding method, which effectively improves construction safety and shortens construction period.
The function of the stabilizing tie rod is to connect the module array into a whole, forming a spatial whole with the transverse connecting rope, thereby improving the overall spatial stiffness and overall stability, effectively resisting wind vibration, and ensuring the stable operation of the PV array.
A load-bearing cable on the lower layer is connected to the bottom of the stabilizing tie rod in the same direction as the module cable. Through the design of the tension stress of the load-bearing cable and the module cable, the disturbance of the module cable can be effectively controlled to improve the resistance to external loads such as wind/snow load.
The wind-resistant cable can reduce the amplitude of the module cable’s oscillation in the wind, minimizing the impact of wind forces on the module cable. It effectively counteracts external loads caused by suction, decreases the cable’s movement, and ensures the safety of the module cable.
